Dear Parent Advisory Committee/District English Learner Advisory Members:
Thank you for your continued involvement and partnership through our District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC). We value your voice and the important role you play in shaping our programs and services.
At our two most recent DELAC meetings, held on March 26th and April 30th, 2026, members reviewed the 2025–2026 YouthTruth Family and Student Survey results for all school sites (RAMS, RCP, and RUP). Parents shared that student survey results could further improve with expanded opportunities for engagement, including:
- Additional elective classes
- Additional extracurricular activities
- Additional sports programs at the charter level
This feedback will help guide future planning to better support student engagement and overall school experience.
DELAC members also reviewed and provided input on the development of the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for 2026–2027, including the three proposed priority goals:
Goal 1: Well-Rounded Educational Program
Goal 2: Academic and Social-Emotional Support
Goal 3: Climate, Culture, and Operations
DELAC members shared that they feel confident in and supportive of these three priority goals for the upcoming school year.
